Adding M.2 SSD - where is the required thermal pad ???
Want to add a Samsung 970 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD to my 5530.
The service manual says on page 15: "Adhere the thermal pad to the M.2 SSD"
But neither the laptop (factory delivered with just one 2.5" HDD), nor the Samsung 970 PRO package contain such a thermal pad.
How do I get one ? Only as DELL part, or can I just go shopping to a generic IT store around the corner ?
If the latter is OK, what thickness should it have (it is not clear to me if such pad needs to bring the SSD in contact with the laptop's back cover to dissipate heat or not ? If the former is true, then thickness is important)

@benoitm,
Thank you for your question.
The thermal pad part number is 88DJK. Send me a PM with your service tag and we'll see what we can do to help you obtain it.
