This problem could possibly occur because you possibly got a charger that is not the same as your Dell Precision 3530. Or, the charger might be really bad and was used a lot. So, it might be best to buy a charger that is the same as your Dell Precision 3530. Or, buy a new charger for your Dell Precision 3530. This happens many times with my laptop, & if I used the laptop charger over time, it starts to slow down. But that's how I solved my problem. So make sure you have the correct adapter for you're Dell Precision 3530, or buy a new adapter.
Sincerely, Andi.

I have very similar issue. My performance is extremely slow, I using different types of adapters, new battery and it works perfectly only first 20 seconds once you attaching a socket. then it's again very slow...

Try updating the system with the latest bios and other drivers. I'm not having such issue anymore for a while!

i tested:
1- Update Bios to latest version - no result
2-Change battery - no result
3-Change adapter to 90W, 130W, 180, 240W - no result!
have you any another idea?

Your laptop requires a 90-watt charger if you have only Intel integrated video, and a 130-watt charger if you also have discrete Nvidia video.
I suggest two things: test the battery; check to see if your laptop recognizes the charger as a Dell charger.
Test the battery:
Open an Administrator CMD prompt (CMD, run as Administrator).
Paste this command, and then press Enter:
powercfg /batteryreport
That will show a figure for the designed battery capacity (when new) and the current capacity.
Hold F2 while booting, to enter BIOS. See if the charger is recognized as a Dell charger and reports the wattage.

You did not say whether you ran the battery test. Please post the results here.
