Dell Precision 7730 - Premier Color not working

Hello everyone,

Yesterday all of a sudden the Dell PremierColor on my Precision 7730 stopped working. In the "advanced color setup" of the menu, in the "color settings" there is no difference whether I choose "Internet(sRGB)", "Photo(Adobe RGB)", "Vibrant (Full)" or any other color space I choose. The colors are always the same no matter which color space I choose.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

Hello,

We would like to look into this for you. Please get back to us with the service tag of the computer, registered owner's name over a private message so that we can look into this.

Does uninstalling the premier color or performing a system restore affect the issue in any way?

Regards,

Aniketh S

I had the same problem on my XPS 15 (7590) and I came up with a workaround to reinstall PremierColor 5.x which I posted here: Overly vivid colors with PremierColor 6.x - Dell Community

As of this morning, this is an issue on my computer too. I noticed that my versions of Dell PremierColor was updated this morning (via the Microsoft Store), which is when the issue materialized. I suspect that the cause is the new 6x version of PermierColor, as for years, I've not had any issues with display color. Currently the colors are WAY TOO vivid (regardless of setting).

I also have this issue since today. I have had this issue in the past multiple times as well and am so frustrated that is is back. I just updated to the new windows version and can't do a system restore. Also uninstalling premiercolor doesn't fix the issue

Thank you so much for this solution. It really solves the problem if a system restore is not possible.
