Dell Precision Mobile Workstation 7680 is overheating

Situation

Overheating then Windows is not active, for example then the lid is closed, in sleep mode, in BIOS then scanning for system faults and in other cases. While Windows is active and I work with engineering design programs, the laptop does not heat up, its temperature is within normal limits. The behavior is the same in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I updated the BIOS, every time a new version came out hoping that the problem would be solved, but nothing changed. One thing is clear that this is a software error and not a hardware error, at least that's what I think. Tried turning off fast boot also didn't help.
To save your time, I would like to mention that the new generation Dell Precision Mobile Workstation sleep states S1, S2. S3 is not possible, the only choice is S0.
Judging from google search it seems that this problem is systemic and many users are facing it. Is there any workaround or will I still have to return the device as unusable.
