Hard Drive not detected help please
Hi guys, I have Dell Precision 7740. A brand new laptop, and only 2 months old.
Suddenly, I get a message saying no hard drive detected and it goes into a constant loop, everytime I press try again.
Anyway, i went into the bios settings and pressed reset settings and chose the option to factory settings. This worked out for me fine. Should I be alerted that I may have a defected ssd?
I did a full system diagnostic from the boot menu and also found nothing.

There is not a firmware update for that type of problem???
The best thing would be to try and reinstall an OS and then run this firmware update just incase.

From your prespective is this something to worry about? I haven't had any issues. I really can't send my laptop for a service because I depend on it too much.
By the way I want to clarify, I only restored the bios settings to the factory settings (though I didn't play with them), so I didn't do a complete wipe down to my computer.
