M6800 won't shut down
Hi All,
I have recently dissasembled my M6800 to get rid of the dust accumulated inside and to reapply the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. Upon the reassembly I have noticed that it booted itself right up, immidiately after placing the battery in. Another symptom is the power button not responding. I get no response even if I hold it for a minute. The last thing is that I cannot shut it down as is boots itself up seconds after a shutdown.
I have checked all the connections inside twice. I have also checked the power button and the connections are intact. I've also measured the voltage on the CMOS battery and it is proper.
I have honestly ran out of ideas and I'm looking forward to your help, thanks!

In case this happens to anyone, I have found the solution. First I checked all of the connections and if the ram is properly seated. Then I cleaned the motherboard very thoroughly with a brush, getting rid of all of the dust. Now it runs perfectly!
