Operating System not working on Dell precision M6500

Hello everyone I was wondering if I could get some help, my Dell Precision Laptop gave me  No Operating System message out of nowhere, I have been struggling to find a way to make my BIOS right and I am struggling a lot. Most of the videos or forums have the old system of BIOS for Dell, on the boot sequence I am unable to find the right ones and probably messed it up. Please if someone is able to let me know what is the right boot sequence, what should be ticked and not I would appreciate. My Bios version is = A07

Ps: Probably the Location is wrong so apologies for that wasn't sure which would be the right one lol

Many Thanks

Welcome to the Dell Community @Monica1980

You need to try 3 of the 4 different "SATA Operation" settings in the BIOS.

First set the BIOS to "Default" save and exit. "RAID is Default"

Does the system boot???

If not then set the "SATA Operation" setting to "AHCI" save and exit.

Does the system boot???

If not then set the "SATA Operation" setting to "ATA" save and exit.

Does the system boot???

If not then the HDD has probable failed.

Have you tried run any tests on the HDD???

Best regards,

U2

Hi thank you so much for your reply, I run tests and it came up with memory integrity test failed [200-0123], so not sure if its saying that I need a new SDD.

Best Regards
