Precision 5520 - Hard Drive Not Found
Precision 5520
System BIOS: v1.3.3 > v1.16.0
ePSA: Build 4304.17 UEFI ROM
-- Situation
I was using the laptop on battery and the battery died.
Plugged in the power source and tried to boot. I received an error about the time not in sync.
I waited for 15 minutes and booted the system again to the hard drive not being recognized.
-- F12 - BIOS Setup
General > System Information > M.2 PCIe SSD-0 (the hard drive was listed)
-- F12 - Diagnostics
Passed all diagnostics tests
-- Installed a new hard drive
-- F12 - Device Configuration
The hard drive is recognized
Saved and exited
-- F12 - Diagnostics
Hard drive failed
-- F12 - BIOS Setup
General > System Information > M.2 PCIe SSD-0 (blank)
-- I upgraded the BIOS and repeated above with no luck
What am I missing?
