Precision 7530 TB16 Update Fails

Hello,

I have a Precision 7530 laptop that has a Dell TB16 dock connected too it that is having some issues with the display blinking every once in awhile, so we are trying to update the dock's firmware to address this, but that is also failing:

The thunderbolt driver is up to date, but the Thunderbolt Controller center correctly has it as always connected, BIOS and graphics driver are up to date also, but we cannot update the dock's firmware as it shows here External monitor blanking or flickering on TB16 and WD15 docks | Dell US

Any guides or suggestions here?
