RTX4000 vs RTX5000 for Precision 7540
Good afternoon, I am new to this community
Thank you for the opportunity to use this forum
I have a Dell Precision 7540 and I am looking at upgrading the Video Card.
I am wondering if it make sense to upgrade to a RTX5000 ?
I have read, the system will not give a better performance… and the best solution would be a RTX4000.
Can I have your opinion ? Ans also if you know if Dell is still offering the TRX4000 and RTX5000 for a Precision 7540 ?

What applications do you use that will benefit from the upgrade? Have you looked at benchmarks of those applications showing how different they benefit from different GPU models?
For example, Adobe Lightroom Classic needs at least an A3000 to offload to the GPU all task types that can benefit. Lightroom will utilize a less capable GPU, but will offload only some task types. I've not explored how much Lightroom Classic benefits when upgrading from an A3000 to an A5000.
Dell still offers the Precision 7760 with the RTX A4000 and RTX A5000, so they're still shipping and supporting those GPUs.
