WD19TB Power Button LED Off
Hello Dell Community!
I recently purchased a WD19TB to connect to my Precision 3510. The power button LED remains off, even though it is powered up and functions correctly.
Is anybody aware of a setting to enable the power button LED? According to the manual, it looks like it should be lit up white when the 180w AC adapter is plugged in:

According to this video, it looks like the power LED will be unlit when connected to a power source, until the Thunderbolt cable is connected:

This would mean the power LED is a function of the laptop BIOS that needs to be fixed in an update for the Precision 3510.

I am having the same problem with the WD19TB and my XPS 13:
Other than the power LED, the only other problem is the audio breaks up when I use a USB headset. I work around that by plugging the USB headset directly into the XPS 13. Dell is shipping me a replacement dock. I'll report back regarding whether that fixed the LED and/or USB headset issue.

Replaced the WD19TB with a new one, and same problem. Turns out my XPS 13 9350 is not a compatible system:

I doubt they'll bother updating BIOS for older models just to make the dock power button LED light up.

I just noticed the same phenomenon with my XPS13 9365. I've had my docking station for about six weeks - operating without any issues once I was able to get it working with a little help from one of my new buddies at Dell Support.
However - just this past weekend I attached a Thunderbolt external GPU (Razer Core X w/GTX1060) to the Thunderbolt port on the WD19TB. Everything was and still seems to work fine except I noticed the power button light stayed off when I pushed the button this morning. Probably not a rabbit I want to chase.

Yes, we have had success with the Latitude 3400 series.

There is unfortunately no fix available for laptops like yours that are not listed in the compatibility guide linked from my prior post.
