why isn't Mobile Connect supported?

Hi,

I am trying to understand why Mobile Connect is not supported for the Precision line, specifically my recently purchased Precision 5540 appears to not be supported.  Is there a technical reason for this?  Please let the community know what is going on.

This is very specific.  its not a one size fits all all models.

Bluetooth is an option not a guaranteed feature.

Available on Dell XPS, Inspiron, G-Series, and Vostro PCs with Bluetooth purchased in January 2018 or later. Dell PCs purchased before January 2018 are not supported.

I'd like to know the reason as well. I have bluetooth enabled on a January 2019 purchased precision laptop. The specs meet or exceed all qualifications of enabled models.
