A940 Printer too dark
Hi all. Brand new to this forum, so I hope I am posting in the right area.
What I have is a Dell A940 printer which, when first used, couldn't be beat colorwise. I noticed the last few months that it is dark enough where detail like a person's hair can't be distinguished. Just a dark blob that blends into a dark jacket for an example.
This thing was beautiful about a year ago. I have replaced ink, as it ran out, and cleaned the printer, but that didn't phase it. Besides, this problem came before I actually needed any new ink.
Colors are true and all of that, it is just that I can't find any way of adjusting the brightness, contrast, color, or hue.
Anyone know what I am fighting? Is there some adjustments someplace that I am missing? This printer was supposed to be the top of the line when I bought it.
Being a computer "non-geek", I have a hard enough time without trying to figure out what is wrong here. Ha ha.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Jack, newbie.
