I, too, am having difficulty with the ink cartridges purchased from Dell. My problem is with the color.  After trying everything, I contacted technical support.  I was kept on the phone on and off hold for one and one-half hours.  The technician also wanted me to buy more cartridges.  He finally agreed to ship me a new one instructing me to return the problem cartridge, which I did.  It still prints acqua instead of blue (as in the email address). The college instructor I spoke with, suggested that perhaps Dell was recycling cartridges and I would have to live with the washed out color.  Any suggestions?

I have also e-mailed Dell twice now about this problem and not had any replies, HA  some customer service EH! They obviously won't reply to e-mails because they can't earn any money that way like they do keeping you on the telephone for hours! what is even more annoying is that half the time you can't understand what the technitian is saying because he's foreign! Dell arent interested in us poor home creatures, all they are after are the big companies to sell their wares to who will spend thousands, we simple joe public don't stand a chance.

Its also obviouse that these forum pages arent monitored/moderated either because if they were (and I was the monitor/moderator) then surely they would defend the company they work for and give you some sort of support.

Dell are a big company you would think that customer satisfaction would be their top priority in both public and businesses areas, you can bet your life that if I was a business they would bend over backwards to sort the problem out.

I work in a school where all the systems are bought from Dell and believe me they are hot on the trail if theres a problem, but because I bought one of their printers for my own personal use at home they couldn't care less. I certainly wouldn't recommend Dell for home use ever again.

I too am having alot of problems with dell. Right now i am still on the phone on hold of course waiting to talk to someone about my printer cartridge stalls I have been on hold for about 15 minutes now and never even talked to anyone. What I dont understand is why the dont have any tech support you can actually understand. This is one of the many problem i have had with dell. I first got my account last october and order a laptop and wireless router  well there wa s defect in the laptop screen and they wouldnt fix it even though i had isurance they wqanted me to pay 800 dollars to get it fixed so i just sent it back i could have bought a whole new computer for that amount well then i had to fight with them because they were still charging me for the laptop and are still trying to. i would never recommend dell for anyone all they are worried about is the money they dont care about tech support. if they did you wouldnt have so many people reporting problems. they certainly need better tech support i wish i knew all this before i bought my system.
