How can I remove Dell Remote Access from my non-Dell computer??
My non-Dell desk top has Dell Remote Access on it and it just recently messed up my access to my administrator account.
I cannot access the administrator account, so I cannot delete the program the regular way (add/remove) because a window pops up saying :"RA Media Server please log in." When I log in it says: "The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer". (meaning administrator privileges).
The only solution the company that manufactures that computer gives is to run a system restore. I cannot even do that because it requires log in as administrator!

Hi, Have you tried going into Programs and Features in Control Panel, and try removing it from there. There is a piece of freeware software HERE, but never hand over money.

I too am having this problem, suddenly, starting a few weeks ago. But I am using a Dell system, Windows Vista. Each time I boot up, a window appears and ties up all processes, trying to load Dell Remote Access. Finally, it asks for a CD to be inserted, which of course I do not have. I do not want this program! I never installed it, it has appeared unbidden. How can I get rid of it??

Thank you! Pretty elementary I now see, and I did get rid of it, feeling a bit foolish for my panic. On to bigger problems!
