Does the BIOS detect the disk, usually it will give you some details about the type of disk connected to that channel (compare it to your boot disk channel) that will at least tell you if it's seeing the drive at a BIOS level.

I eventually got it to work and the solution was quite simple. I had purchased a WD H/D with a "Secure Connect" Well it seems as if it never powered up the H/D therefore it was never detected. I used a standard SATA data cable with the second drive power supply, and everything come up as it should.
No Events found!
