Adding a Hard Drive

Question

Can I take the hard drive from a Dimension XPS T700R (30GB Ulta ATA drive) and install it in my Dimension 8100 as a second hard drive?   Also, if answer is yes, how dificult is it to perform.  My old T700 got a power surge and I think the board is fried, but hopefully the drive is OK.

Thanks for the info and link to the manual.  I pulled the drive from the old PC and it is jumpered for CS so my next step will be to add the drive to the 8100 and see what happens.
