Adding PCI IDE RAID Card

HELP!! I have an IDE PCI RAID controller card "Highpoint 370", I have installed it into my dell 8400, and added two 40Gb hard disks, set them up as Raid0 in the raid controller, set it to the primary boot device after the CDrom. I have unplugged the SATA 80Gb drive to avoid any config issues.

- Boot off the Winxp CD and hit "F6" to apply the drivers etc.., XP loads up fine and completes the first part of the install, after the 1st reboot (if you leave the XP cd in) it comes up after POST with "Press any key to boot off the CD,DVD.....) if you dont touch the keyboard it boots straight into the newly installed copy of XP, which, so far is all good.

Now comes the curly part!!

If I remove the XP Cd from the drive and attempt to boot, the Dell states that there is no boot device, Press F1 to retry or F2 to enter setup!!!!
I'm pulling my hair out, I have checked everything, the boot proirity, the boot drive (in the RAID cards bios), made the RAID card the only boot device, nothing works. The only time it works is if I leave the XP CD in the DVD drive and "Dont press any key!!"

The only thing I haven't done yet is update the 8400's BIOS to the latest A06 which i will try tonight.

But if any one has seen or heard of this before or has any input I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Please Help!!
