You would think it would all be working. You can try running a DIAG test on the motherboard and see if maybe that SATA slot on the motherboard has issues. I think if you bootup to the dell cd you and run the full DIAG test....
Unfortunately we don't get disks with our machines. Every piece of software on our systems is from images that are installed across the network. Can you recommend a decent SATA controller test software? The only ones I have all test the drives, not the onboard controllers. Thanks for any suggestions.
I think you might be able to download the DIAG from Dell to run a test on your hardware. Not sure, look up your PC and see if has anything in your downloads for your PC.
