I would run the Dell diagnostics on your drive by booting with your Dell drivers and utilities disc. But it certainly sounds like a problem with your hard drive.
Of course, any hard drive can fail at any time, which is why backing up your data files is so important, just as you carry a spare tire in the back of your car. It doesn't mean you have a bad car! :emotion-2:

It's not even running the CD while the HDD is installed. So I can't test it.
The Pre-boot test went fine without errors. So I'm pretty sure it is.
Will try to run the CD tomorrow withoud HD to be sure it is not something else.
