blue screen and multiple error codes
I have a Dimension 4700 with the following blue screen stop message: 0x00000050
When I ran the diagnostics I got numerous error codes:
0F00:0244
0F00:1A44
2F00:0119
2F00:0419
2F00:0819
2F00:0719
2F00:0919
2F00:0A19
2F00:0219
Help!!! What does all this mean, how did it happen, and can it be fixed??? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

OFOO.O244, 'uncorrectable data error or media is write protected', means the SATA hard drive has failed. You need to replace the drive.

Bev,
Is this just a random hard drive failure or was it caused by a virus or other "event"? (I use McAffee virus protection supplied by Comcast)
I assume all the other error messages relate to the drive as well - a new drive would fix it all or would there be other problems to resolve?

Yes, all the errors you posted, relate to the hard drive, a virus cannot cause them.
You need to buy a new SATA 7200rpm, 3.5" hard drive, install it and reload windows.
