Blu_Ray disc combo problems
I have a Studio XPS1645 with a Sony CA10N BD combo disc player running with PowerDVD DX 8.3.1.6107.
Recently the player has stopped playing BD discs properly. It will play with audio only but the screen remains black.
Standard DVDs run perfect.
I don't know if this is a settings issue or something more serious
Input would be greatly appreciated

Hi Dcouch315,
This problem does not indicate a problem with your drive. It's most likely a PowerDVD issue, possibly the result of a patch or fix. You may be able to resolve this by uninstalling then reinstalling the program, but be sure NOT to allow any updates.
My other suggestion is to peruse the Cyberlink forums for ideas.

This is one of the vexing things about blu-ray. There are as yet no free players. Otherwise, I'd love to recommend one.
