Samstein:

Thanks for your post!

What system do you have? Also, did you get the disk jammed in the drive or is the software simply not opening?

Thanks,

Thanks for replying.

Here's my answer to your question:

My system is as what i mentioned above a XPS 1330 and is currently running on Windows vista operative system. Here's a more detailed description of my system:

XPS M1330 CORE 2 DUO T7500 2.20GHz,800,4M
XPS Entry N0913305
13.3" WXGA (1280x800) Display with TrueLife
Tuxedo Black & 2.0 mega pixel Camera for CCFL Display
Resource DVD XPS M1330 - (Diagnostics & Drivers)
Memory Dual-Channel 2048MB (2x1024) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
160GB (7200RPM) SATA Hard Drive
8xDVD+/-RW Slim Slot-Load Drive, including SW
Primary 6-cell 56WHr Li-Ion Battery
128 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS 1
Intel® Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-PCI Card, EUR
Swedish/Finnish Internal Lightweight Keyboard (QWERTY)
Software Drivers XPS M1330
--------------------------------------------------------

And yes, my cd is more likely jammed in the dvd-driver. The dvd-driver couldn't read the disc at its very first attempt nor could it be ejected, though it sounded to be in a correct position. Now its even worse, I suspect that it has moved slightly out of that position into a more inconvenient one where it sounds like it's trashing the cd when I eject it.
