cd not recoginzed when inserted
I got a new Epson printer and need to install the software. I put my cd in, the light blinks green, and then nothing happens. Thinking back, I am not able to cd's either. Also, I tried to insert a different cd and it was not recognized either. Please help.

Hi Gunsyd,
It may just be a driver issue. Please click on the CD/RW link in my post and scroll to Section 15, article 1 and see if this helps. If not, same CD/RW link, Section 20, article 3.
If this dos not help, shutdown, open the case and reseat (unplug/replug) the IDE cable going from the motherboard to the back of the drives.
If while in Device Manager, you se Error Codes, such as 19, 31, 39, 41, then it may be an issues with the Uper & Lower Filters, same CD/RW link, Section 100, article 31.
