CD player not working or recognized by computer
I put a CD in the player and it does not come up at all. When I look at my computer it does not show up with the C drive or any other drive that is up there. Any suggestions???

Look in the Device Manager .............
Start | Control Panel | System in classic view | Hardware tab | Device Manager
Click on the (+) next to DVD/CD-ROM drives. Right-click the drive and select
Properties. Is there an Error Code (number)?

I get Error Code 19.
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
I tried to trouble shoot but still no help.
