cd rom/rw drives not recognized get code 41
"Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)"
This is the message I get when I uninstall/reinstall the cd drives. Both have a yellow circle on the names in device manager. They do not appear in "my computer".
I have not opened the case as yet.
ANY help will be very much appreciated.

the Registry Editor should fix it ............

Thanks so much. I tried it and it worked. Now to just reinstall the roxy cd creator and I think I will be in business. Appreciate your help.
