cd/dvd not recognizing

I have a new Inspiron 5150.  Lately the CD/DVD drive will only recognize a disk if I insert it and restart.  When I eject, it will not recognize the second cd.  It still shows the first title.  Also it will not autorun any disks.  I reinstalled the drivers from the dell webstie with no results.  Can you help me?

I have the exact same problem. It's an Inspiron 5150 with the CDRW/DVD drive: Samsung SN-324F & Windows XP Pro that I bought in January.  I installed & uninstalled cd burning software (needed to burn an ISO Image) when this started happening.  I tried Cheetah Burner and UltraIso from download.com.  I was going to try reinstalling the drivers to see if that solves the problem, but I can't find them.  I've looked in the "Drivers and Utilities" CD as well as online at the dell website & the samsung website.  The only driver I found was on Samsung's website but it said it was in Korean and for Samsung Computers.  Help !  I don't want to resort to doing a system restore, I have a bunch of software already installed.
