Compatability Specs

What Specs do I look for when purchasing a HD for my C610.  Is it 2.5" drive,  ATA, Drive thickness (or are they all the same).  Does anybody know??  I assume a SATA can't be used in the C610 (or is there an adaptor available)?

Any insight is appreciated.
