computer management

I went into computer management and notice theres a fat parition thats 90% free.  It says EISA Configuration.  Was this meant to hold a ghost image when I got my laptop.  It has 78 megs free and was wondering if it could be used for boot files, i'd like to setup a dual boot for linux.  Or if I should just leave it alone or can I just delete the partition.

Thanks,
Chris

It is the Dell diagnostic partition; delete it only if you know you'll never need to run a system diagnostic.
