Hi Dion

Get belarc advisor http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

and post the log it generates here so we know what the actual specs of your machine are. Also get startup list http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/

and check whats running when you startup the comp.

cheers

if this is an older game, it may need a patch to recognize the speed of your CPU.

You might do better to #1 Check the support site of the game

#2 Check the software forums

T-B

OK, I'm confused.  I recommended posting to the proper forum.  I suggested contacting the vendor.  I enquired if it was an older game.

Please, O' judge of etiquette, what Heinous foul hathe DaGeezerUS committed this time???

DaGeezerUS; you are completely correct. The reply should direct the user to the proper forum. The only time I'll post an answer is if it is completely straight-forward.

From reading the info from the link that T-B keeps posting   http://www.djdenham.com/etiquette.htm  I think what he keeps ranting about is the fact that dageezerus is replying to the original poster instead of the last person who posted which is considered cutting the thread(as far as my understanding of the guidelines goes) This can also occur if using the Linear view instead of the Thread view.    This may be proper forum etiquette but it seems illogical to me to post to the last person who posted if you are wanting to give an answer to the original poster.  This is just my opinion and I will have to get used to the idea.    I have also noticed that nearly all of T-B's posts are always after dageezerus posts and usually T-B has nothing to say except to bash dageezerus or just repeat what he has already said which in itself is breach of the etiquette guidelines.    "

It is always unacceptable to post the same information that has been already given above that information.  As you become familiar with Delltalk you will see this occur on occasion (and as you become more familiar, you will notice that the same few individuals are usually the ones who do it).
