Cpu Usage

I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with 2 gigs of ram. My CPU usage will go to 100% and then hang. I finally got the task manager up and checked the processes running. The largest processes running were 2 iexplore.exe. I couldn't figure out why I needed two to run so in great trepidation I closed one of them and since then things have been running low on the CPU usage.

You may want to post this in the forum under Software - Spyware/Virus. Also if you do a search you will find alot of threads on here related to high CPU usage.

You get two iexplorers in Task Manager because you opened IE twice. However, this alone should not result in high CPU process usage. You may have another process causing the problem.

Thanks - I think I might have found my answer to part of it. I had upgraded Elements 3 to Elements 5 and I finally noticed that one of Adobe's files was taking all the usage. I noticed this went I went to the Webroot forum.
