Is the drive able to read or write DVDs outside of Premier Elements 3.0?

Hi Skybird
I have watched movies without any trouble, but haven't tried to burn with Roxio yet.  I have used Elements to save the DVD to a folder with the intent to burn with Roxio but won't be able to do this until Thur due to work.

You will need to burn the file with Roxio.  Burn it as a Data Project.
We will be here Thursday.

I don't know what the problem was or what fixed it but I have copied about 5 DVDs without any problems using Roxio. Maybe Adobe was the problem. It did crash a few times while I was authoring my movies using Premier Elements 3.0.  Maybe I had problems burning the movies that crashed? I do know that it froze up a few times with the last movie and I got that message each time I tried to burn it. I burned the last movie with Roxio and have not had any problems.  I have also been able to watch the movies using Media Player.

Sounds like you may have it going now.  Thanks for posting back.  Best regards.
