Dimension 3000 - Fdisk

Question

When originally receiving my new Dell Dimension 3000 - I ran an fdisk and noticed there were 3 partitions.  Part 1       Non-Dos                    47       0%                   Part 2       CP/M                      2816     7%                   Part 3  A   NTFS                   35268     92%   Can anyone PLEASE tell me what Partitions 1 and 2 are for and why I shouldn't/couldn't just make my Active NTFS partition be 100%?

The small partition [1] is Dell's Hidden EISA Partition that has diagnostics.

Partition 1 is the Dell diagnostics; 2 is the Symantec restore partition. If you remove P1, you'll have to use the diagnostics CD when needed; if you remove P2, you will not be able to restore to an as-shipped configuration quickly - you'd have to manually reinstall everything in case you wanted to restore the system.
