Disk Partitions
Since refreshing my Dell laptop with windows 8.1 two partitions have appeared out of nowhere. I have never intentionally made a partition on my HD. I was thinking that one was for the OS and the other for recovery but they werent their before I did the refresh. So I am completely confused and would appreciate some help.

Hi Blackbeard999,
Perhaps you could provide a list of the partitions as they appear in disk management or a screenshot.

The drive letters aren't really all that telling. What I meant was the partition labels and maybe file system.
Dell PCs running Windows 8 will normally have four or five partitions (recovery, Winretools, diagnostics, etc). It's possible they were there before but were not assigned drive letters.
