DVD Burner

I have a Dimension 2350 Series, Intel Celeron Processor at 1.70GHz, 256MB DDR SDRAM at 266MHz. I already have a 40x/10x/40x CD-RW Drive and am not at all computer literate. I need a DVD Burner to burn movies I have downloaded but don't know what I shoulkd order? I was hoping, maybe, someone with more knowledge could be of some assistance? :smileyhappy:
I was also wondering how I would know if my computer needs more memory? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Any standard IDE DVD Burner is acceptable tfor your system.  The favored
brands of this forum are Plextor, Pioneer and the retail NEC drives.  A
good place to obtain a DVD burner is online at
www.newegg.com

The minimum RAM for Windows XP is 256Mb.  You system can benefit with an
additional 256Mb for a total of 512Mb.  A good place to obtain memory is
www.crucial.com .  Use the Memory Configurator.
