DVD diagnostic error code 0F00:021D

Question

I completed a read test on my dvd drive after my dvd drive stopped playing dvds after a certain and a couple of times my laptop shut down after freezing. On completion of the read test on the diagnostic programme for several dvds it came up with the error code: 0F00:021D
