DVD noises
I have an Inspiron 1100 with a QSI CDRW/DVD combo drive. For the last month or so it has gotten were it doesn't want to play DVD's that have been copied. It will play the original, but the copies will play for about 30 minutes, then start to stop and skip and make loud clicking noises. This happens on both DVD-R and DVD+r discs from different companies (sony & memorex). I have updated the drivers. CD's also work and record fine.
Windows XP with SP2
Thanks for any help,
David

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
Try disabling all programs that might run in the background (e.g. virus software), before starting your DVD. That is strange that this only happens with burnt disks though.
