DVD-RW Problem

Question

Hello, My DVD/ROM can read CD's and DVD's, but when I try to write something, it shows the writing in progress and completes successfully. But when I try to read it, I get error message 'Drive:/ is not accessible. Incorrect Function.'. I am able to read all CD's and DVD's except blank CD's and DVD's. I get the same error message mentioned above when I try to read them. My laptop is INSPIRON 1525 model, OS - Windows XP, dvd writer is - TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632H. I have re-installed all drivers, re-installed Roxio creator, Nero. Still that problem is there. Could anyone Please suggest me how to solve this problem. Best Regards,

Hi, Sameer: Insert a blank CD or DVD in your drive and see if Nero Infotool is able to read the blank media. I'm sure you're aware that XP cannot write to or recognize blank DVDs.
