dvd
Hello everyone!!! I recently bought an inspiron 1100 and I thought I could play dvd movies as simple as i can play cds, but i dont think thats the case.. can someone tell me if there is any equipment that i have to buy additionally? and also, please, can someone tell me how to delete a wallpaper that i saved as from a website? i dont want to use it anymore and would like to delete it from my computer. thanks so much!!

a normal cdrom drive cannot read a dvd.
if your optical drive is a dvd or dvd/crdw combo then you'll need dvd playback software such as windvd or powerdvd.
for your wallpaper, go start>search>files & folders>all files & folders & in the box type in *.bmp
then click search.
you'll have to go thru all the hits to find the particular file then delete it using the mouse right click.
