Recently I burned a copy of some backup files for a Quickbooks pro account I am managing. I popped it in my Inspiron 6000 (with DVD/CD-RW) and restored the files to the laptop with no problem. I then went back to my office, took the CD-R and popped ity into my Dimension 3000 (DVD/CD-RW) to upload to my Quick Books Pro on the Dimension and it won't even recognize the CD and the Box with all the slections that pops says it's blank! I pop it back in my inspiron 6000 and it reads it and says the back up file is there.
HELP! Do I need to adjust settings or something in my Dimension or what? I 'm under a time crunch to develope a Budget for this client in six days and frustrated.

how you burned the disc…
For now, copy the file to your HD and use XP Burning with a blank CD. That will produce a Data CD w/sessions and should be readable in any ROM device.
