error code 2000-0141

today I made the mistake of my life. I accidentally removed the hard drive from the computer while it was in sleep mode, not realizing it was in that condition. I installed another drive, which it did recognize for all of about 20 seconds, then went to blue screen. Now, neither of these drives are recognized. I'm sure that there is some kind of memory issue which is causing the bios to recognize the previous configuration. The computer is a XPS 1731 Laptop. I would greatly appreciate any assistance, either here, or via e-mail to <ADMIN NOTE: Email id removed per privacy policy> asap.
