Error code oxc0000185 WHAT TO DO?
Hi, yesterday when I opened up my laptop it came up with a blue screen saying "Error occurred" So we tried turning off our laptop but it just came up the with the blue screen again. We tried different options like starting and going into F8 and F11 but with no luck nothing is working. We tried to open the laptop and its only the Dell logo on the screen loading consistently. Please help me I need some support as my laptop its essential for my day today to use. Thank you very much hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Susana84,
We need the model of your Dell and operating system in order to suggest help. I'll also refer you to this article. Does that describe your problem?
It's possible that your hard drive has failed. Since you said your laptop is essential, then I'm sure you have a good backup system. That may be important.

Hi Osprey the model of the laptop is ,Inspiron 15 7000 series , and the operating system is windows8 at the moment the laptop is locked we can do nothing at all the screen is loading all the time

Hi there, no I havent first becouse its new only a few months old and second we dont store no data on the lap top just surfing the net .thanks

Ok, that's good!
Since the system is pretty new, and I suspect your hard drive has actually failed, your best option is to Call Dell tech support for help. They'll walk you through the steps to test the drive to see if it's working or not. And then they can arrange to get a new hard drive installed.
