Error message in file C:\Windows\ESlogs\EventSystem.html
I accidentally came across the following error message in the above file:
Event Log for source: EventSystem
Type Date Time Category Event Description Data
Error 2/25/2002 21:63:23.960 Event System 4097 The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 80080005 from line 39 of D:\n3/private\es\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.
I contacted Microsoft but received a response indicating that Warranty Support is no longer available for Windows ME and hope you can help me. Should I delete this file or take some other action? I don't know how the file was created.

This is not related to your hard drive. You should post in the ME forum. Frankly, unless you're having some problem, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for your reply, and I apologize for not posting in the ME Forum.
I agree with your comment on the file but thought I should write you since it specifically requested Microsoft Product Support Services be contacted.
