Error message on boot up
Over the last couple of weeks I have been receiving messages on my computer informing me that my virtual memory was running too low and that I needed to go and increase its size. i increased the size from 374 - 450 MB and the next time I tried to boot up the PC I got the following error message:
Windows cannot load as the following file is corrupt:
\System32\hal.dll
Please re-install a copy of the above file
Any ideas on how to fix this??

sinok56,
Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.
Actually this doesn't concern the drive but rather the operating system. I would ask that you post this in the Software section under your current operating system.
