GS 270 booting problem

Question

i have a desktop GS 270 that can't boot up.  when i press power button, it keeps flashing but can't boot up.  However, it boots up while i open the case.  when i close the case and stand it up, then it just keeps flashing and do nothing again.  Anyone have any idea please help.  Thanks alot

Perhaps one of the cables is being pinched and shorting out against the case. Look Carefully at the IDE cables and see if they are being squeezed by the metal part of the cover as it closes.
