Hard DIsk Drive Replacement Tutorial

I'm going to upgrade the HDD in my son's Dimension 2350 (since I can't add a second drive - grrr). Can anyone refer me to a complete tutorial, including ghosting or copying the existing drive contents?

Any suggestions on a simple to install, quality HDD? I'm assuming I'll just utilize an IDE drive since that's what's in there now.

How do I get around the 120GB limit in the BIOS?

Thanks all.

In the future, by using the Advanced Forum Search on the bottom of this page, you can quite easily find the answer to this often asked question.

1) You can add a 2nd drive.  Posted hundreds of times.  See the bracket and cable, along with directions, on my site.  Further, also explained on the forum is that the new drive manufacturer would have software to copy old drive to new drive.

2) Seagate longest warranty, then Western Digital, NOT Maxtor.

3) There is no 120gb limit in bios...  Windows XP SP1 or higher and latest bios.
