Hard disk failure.....

 

 I have my dell laptop inspiron 15r it works fine....but the only issue that it gets hangs while working....sometime it works very well but sometime it just gets freezed up

i formatted the system...it was working fine..but thought to have a diagnostic and i found the error 2000-0146

the system works fine..except it gets freezed sometime while working.....is my hdd failure or is still there any solution to overcome this...???

Yes, the hard drive is faulty - it needs to be replaced.

      yes...it seems to be like that....there is no else option..

     just wanted to know which hdd would be better to buy and of which company....????

There are only three drive manufacturers left - WD, Seagate and Toshiba.  I'd take one of the first two (you still see some Samsung drives - but that's Seagate now -- and WD has Hitachi's 2.5" drive business).
