Hard dive parameter problem

Every time I start my computer I get the Notice: "The primary IDE master hard drive SELF MONITORING SYSTEM has reported that a parameter has exceeded its normal operating range."  Before I can continue I have to press F1 or I can press F2 to go into BIOS...

How can I fix this problem?

it's a warning that has detected that something on your drive is amiss.  If the drive data is important back it up now and buy a replacement or if still under warranty, send it in.  Speedfan also gives smart data info.
