Hard drive fault, error code 2000-0151
Hi, i have a dell inspiron 14z and am having a trouble upon start up.
When i switch on my laptop it freezes on the dell logo screen then says the following message.
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
For Atheros PCIE Ethernet controller v2.1.1.1(12/23/11)
Check Cable Connection!
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key
When i run a diagnostics scan i get the following.
Error Code 2000-0151
Validation 125329
Msg: Hard Drive 0 -S/N TE95113RHJY90P, incorrect staus = 3E
SMART Predictive Failure
Technical Support will need this information to diagnose the problem. Please record the above Error and Validation codes.
Please help its becoming very frustrating.

Error Code 2000-0151 indicates a hard drive failure, you will need to replace the hard drive, then reinstall windows and load the drivers and applications.
If you have a Dell warranty in effect, contact Dell's Technical Support, for the replacement HD and give the Techie the above information.
