HDD error after acronis. Improper Clone maybe?

Used Acronis True Image on new HD and can't get it to boot. Ran test and I get error code 2F00:0B03
I also get stop error ox0000007B. Did I not clone HD properly?
Can anyone help?

Did you select the option for cloning rather than imaging partition by partition?  It sounds like the boot record is messed up, something that is almost a certainty if you don't clone the entire drive.

The error code seems to refer to a bad sector on the hard drive. Was the original drive failing before you cloned it?

original drive is fine, just wanted a bigger one. I did select clone entire drive when I did it.

ejn63, if you see this, can you tell me how to wipe the drive and start over? Was I suppose to format before clone? Another error I got when I first put in in my laptop was  L2 cache not found.
Man , I'm gonna pull what hair I have left out!

You didn't mention what model, how long you've had it, or what the sizes of the HDD (old and new) you're dealing with.  Do you perhaps have HPA-based MediaDirect on the original HDD?  If so, you might be bumping into the problem described here:

Original HD 80g not sure of brand and new one is 120g Western Digital. The link does sound like my problem. My next question is how do I wipe it clean and start over? It's in my 1 yr. old E1505 and the 80 g is about 90% full.

Okay, a 1-yr old Inspiron would probably have MediaDirect 2, so would be subject to the problem.  See:

Post #33 in that thread probably most closely matches your situation.  I think you shouldn't need to reclone, but should only need to re-expose the HPA and kill LBA-3.

If you need further assistance, I suggest joining that thread.  I'm not an Acronis user, but the folks in that thread have hands-on experience recovering from exactly your situation, so they should be able to walk you through it.
